Programs

Public Housing Public housing admissions

The Public Housing Program provides housing to families, elderly and handicapped persons at 6 developments throughout the city. To receive housing assistance under this Program, residents must have incomes at or below 80% of Area Median Income.

Section 8

The Housing Choice Voucher Program allows participants to locate housing of their choice in the Golden Triangle area. Clients assisted under this program may locate suitable housing in privately owned rental apartments, single family homes, condominiums or mobile homes. If the unit meets Housing Quality Standards and Rent Reasonableness requirements, the Housing Authority will provide rental assistance for that property.
