How to Apply

The Section 8 Waiting List is Closed!

You may apply for Public Housing through our Online Application System.

Applicants may apply for our programs online at our website, www.bmtha.org.   Just follow the “Online Application System” link and enter an application for each program that you are interested in, and you’re done!   You can return to the site to check your status on the waiting list, or to make changes to your application.

If you prefer to apply in person, applications are taken Monday through Friday at the BHA Admissions Office located at 1890 Laurel in Beaumont, Texas.  Applications for Pointe North or Regent I are only accepted at the leasing offices located at each property.

Due to the popularity of our programs, the waiting lists often close.   If the program you are interested in is currently closed, please keep checking our website and the local newspapers for announcements on when applications will be accepted.
