DEPARTMENTS

Client Services and Communications is responsible for supporting BHA through communications, marketing and public relations activities, as well as locating, researching and developing grant applications to bring more dollars in to the agency. It is also responsible for the operation of all social and supportive services programs and any other activities encouraging resident training and self-sufficiency.

The Comptroller is responsible for the fiscal management of all BHA programs.

Human Resources is responsible for the recruitment and screening of all job applicants as well as any other  personnel action.

Management Information Systems services and maintains all software for the agency, and provides ongoing troubleshooting and technical support to staff.

Planning & Development is responsible for acquiring and building new units as well as demolishing or disposing of obsolete public housing.  This department  also supervises the Central Maintenance staff. 

Public Housing is responsible for the management of BHA's six properties in the public housing program.

Purchasing is responsible for procuring goods and services through public bids or requests for proposal.

Section 8 is responsible for the management of the Housing Choice Voucher Program, which currently assists over 1,600 families with subsidized housing.
