HOPE VI Community & Supportive Services (CSS) Program

The HOPE VI CSS Program is limited to residents living at Regent I and Pointe North. Residents who reside at these properties must:

  • Be employed for 30 hours or more per week
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours, or 30 hours per week) in school or a job training program
  • Be enrolled in a HOPE VI-sponsored case management program
  • Or any combination of the above

HOPE VI CSS caseworkers at each site work directly with the families to ensure that they meet this occupancy criteria. The services offered through this program were gathered based on an intensive Needs Assessment Survey conducted on all new move-ins at Regent I and Pointe North. BHA has a network of over 70 faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, local government agencies and educational institutions committed to assisting families through the CSS program.

The numerous partners assembled for this program target the entire population from youth programs to senior services. Collectively, these partners have committed child care slots, employment training and financial literacy counseling, transportation, case management, health care, substance abuse and other counseling programs.
