THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT HEREBY ANNOUNCES 45-DAY
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR AMENDMENT TO 2011 FIVE YEAR AND ANNUAL PLAN

The Housing Authority of the City of Beaumont (BHA) has amended its Annual and 5-Year Plan to reflect its plans to demolish and rebuild the Concord Homes public housing development. The deadline for submittal of written comments is 4:00 p.m. CST on December 11, 2011.

The Plan documents will be available for inspection beginning October 27, 2011 at the BHA Central Office, located at 1890 Laurel, Beaumont, TX 77701, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To facilitate public access and review of the Plan, BHA has also made the revisions available via the Internet at the BHA web site at www.bmtha.org.

The public is invited to submit written comments. Written comments should be addressed to Mr. Robert L. Reyna, Executive Director, and must be received at BHA’s Central Office, 1890 Laurel, Beaumont, TX 77701, no later than 4:00 p.m. CST on December 11, 2011. All written comments will be carefully reviewed and considered.
